How to become a Musician or Performance Artist at the Lilac Festival

The 4th Street Lilac Festival is all about promoting independent up and coming talent from around Calgary as well as internationally. We consider all musical and performance art acts including dance troupes and anything related to children's entertainment. These performances are all extremely important in adding ambience to the event and with an attendance of approximately 100,000 it is a great way to get much-deserved exposure.

If interested in taking part in the 4th Street Lilac Festival you must submit either a regular or electronic press kit. Please include the following information:

• Biography
• Sample of music (originals only) or performance and/or links to video footage or music samples through websites such as MySpace or YouTube
• Photos
• Website link to actual artist or group
• Email address and contact information
• A list of any upcoming shows so we are able to come and check you out live!

Hand delivered press kits will be accepted on weekdays only, Monday to Friday from 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM. All electronic press kit (EPK) entries are to be emailed to info@4streetcalgary.com

Please be sure to put LF Submission in the subject title or it may get missed.

Performance submissions for one of our stages are accepted until FEBRUARY 15TH of each year. All applicants will be notified by the first week of April once the final selections have been made.
